Around here it is not English versus Western...
It is quality horsemanship.
Over my career I've pulled the best pieces I have found from classical dressage, ranch horses, reining, jumping and many other focus points with horses to share an approach to working with horses that suits all horses regardless of discipline.
At the end of the day, its not just what we do... its how we do it that really matters.

We need to have a real honest conversation... and I want you to know this upfront:
There is a dangerous lie that has spread wide through our horse community telling folks, that you that you should build the relationship and the skills with your horse separately... That one should come before the other... And frankly this is going to get someone seriously hurt or even killed.
These 'professionals' are pandering to what makes people feel good (and sells), not what matters to the horse and gets real results. And these 'professionals' are creating unrealistic expectations leaving horses and people in extremely dangerous situations as well as frustrated because people don't know why they are struggling to accomplish their goals with their horse.
In my experience in helping thousands of horses and people across the world, in the BEST of times and the WORST of times with our horses we need BOTH the skills and a partnership we can trust, depend on and be confident in at the same time.
I believe we can agree, the strongest relationships with those we can truly depend on are those who we have been through the good, the bad and the ugly with. We've experienced real life together.
How we do things within the CWH Cavvy is built on what I call a Working Partnership.
A Working Partnership is our approach to building a deep, reliable Partnership AND Skills with your horse that you can trust and depend on to be there at the same time.
Behind the practical approach of developing a Working Partnership with our horse is the 3 P's: Purpose, Partnership & Performance (skills).
What we do with our horses develops the Skills.
How we work with our horses, develops the Partnership.
Everything we do has a Purpose.
So often I tell my students, this is simple but that doesn't make it easy. The Cavvy is where we all come together to build real partnerships, real skills with real purpose. It's a close knit community of people dedicated to their horses and helping others. We've got tons of resources available to you at your finger tips and support to help you along the journey with your horse.

It is the spirit of the Ranch Horse that runs deep within the CWH Cavvy.
Ranch horses work with purpose. They share deep partnerships with their cowboys that are built while on the job together. They know what is expected of them and reliably perform the skills needed of them despite the circumstances. The cowboys understand the importance and responsibility they have to serve their horses and meet their needs Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually.
You dont have to live on a ranch or even work with a quarter horse to gain the benefit of working with your horse with a real sense of purpose to develop a deep partnership and reliable skills with your horse at the same time.
The Cavvy provides you and your horse a clear pathway to follow and community support so that you can develop the reliable Skills and Partnership needed so you and your horse can first stay safe, then have fun, while serving each other and accomplish your highest goals together.

There is a deeper level of connection, of knowing each other, of knowing you can trust each other and depend on one another. How we work with our horses here in The Cavvy builds partnerships we can rely on in the best of times and the worst of times. They are partnerships to last a life time.

We dont rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.
